On this map, we can see the amount of seafood people consume in each country. It is calculated in kilograms per person per year.

Seafood consumption in North America varies quite a bit. On most Caribbean islands, seafood consumption is very high, especially on the smaller islands. In Central America however, seafood consumption is very low.

The biggest seafood consumer per capita in North America is Antigua & Barbuda, where people consume an average of 58 kg of seafood per capita per year. Barbados follows with 48 kg of seafood.

The lowest seafood consumption can be found in Guatemala and Honduras (3 kg).
