We’ve looked before at how satisfied people in Europe were with their life.

The map shows us the average rating on a scale from 0-10 of how satisfied people aged 16 to 29 are with their lives overall. The results are quite encouraging. The majority of countries score a 7 or higher. Meaning that young Europeans are fairly satisfied with their life overall.

Turkey (5.6), Albania (6.1), Montenegro (6.5) and Bulgaria (6.7) are the only countries that score lower than a 7.0.

Of all Europeans, young Croatians, Romanians and Slovenes are the most satisfied with their lives, rating it an 8.2. Together with Cyprus and Czechia (8.0) they are the only one’s rating their life and 8.0 or higher.

Overall, in almost every European country, young people are more satisfied with their life’s than the overall population.
