Nowadays we’ve got so used to using the Internet what we assume it’s normal that everyone uses it almost daily. That is in fact true for some countries, but not everywhere. On this map, we’ll look at what percentage of the population (ages 16-74) in Asia has accessed the internet in the past three months.

Parts of the Middle East, East Asia and Brunei, Malaysia and Singapore have the highest percentage of people that have accessed the Internet in the past 3 months. It’s especially high in Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar where 100% of the population accessed the Internet in the past 3 months.

The lowest percentages can be found in Bangladesh (13%) and Pakistan (17%).
