Meat consumption varies widely in Asia. There are countries like India, with a very large vegetarian population, which has one of the lowest per capita consumption of meat in the world. And then there is also Hong Kong, which has the highest meat consumption in the world. Together with Hong Kong, Macau and Israel also make it into the global top 10 in regards to per capita meat consumption.
