We can see that the expected years of schooling in North America varies a lot by country. It’s quite high further north, but in some Central American countries it’s quite low.

Keep in mind though, that this doesn’t necessarily say something about the quality of the education.

Grenada has the highest expected years of schooling in North America, 18.7 years. Costa Rica (16.5) is second, Canada (16.4) is third and the US (16.3) is fourth.

The lowest numbers can be found in Haiti (9.7), Honduras (10.1) and Guatemala (10.6).
