When it comes to internet speed, Africa has some of the slowest internet connections in the world. In a ranking published by Cable.co.uk, Africa is represented with 15 countries in the global bottom 25.

Equatorial Guinea (2.7 Mbps), Cameroon (3.2 Mbps) and Ethiopia (3.5 Mbps) have the slowest internet in Africa.

The fastest internet connections in the Africa can be found in the French overseas department of Réunion (45.5 Mbps), Rwanda (39.9 Mbps), South Africa (36.5 Mbps) and Burkina Faso (35.6 Mbps).
