When it comes to internet speed, South America isn’t doing that great. In a ranking published by Cable.co.uk, Uruguay (111.5 Mbps) is the only South American country represented in the global top 20. it also has by far the fastest internet in South America. Chile (85.5 Mbps) and Brazil (72.7 Mbps) rank second and third in South America.
The slowest internet connections in South America can be found in Venezuela (10.9 Mbps), Suriname (12.5 Mbps) and Bolivia (16.0 Mbps).
