When it comes to internet speed, Asia has some of the fastest and also slowest internet connections in the world. In a ranking published by Cable.co.uk, Macau (231.4 Mbps) and Taiwan (153.5 Mbps) are the only non-European countries represented in global top 10. Japan (124.7 Mbps) and Singapore (101.8 Mbps) also make it into the global top 25.
The slowest internet connections in the world can also be found in Asia. The global bottom 4 are all Asian countries. Afghanistan (1.7 Mbps), Yemen (1.8 Mbps), Syria (2.3 Mbps) and Timor-Leste (2.5 Mbps) have the slowest internet in the whole world.
